Running a Scottish Professional Football League Club takes many hours of dedication and commitment from a wide range of people, many who give up a large number of hours per week to support the club and others who can only spare time on a Saturday afternoon. Each and every one of these volunteers are essential to keep the Club running.

Volunteering with Elgin City Football Club is a great way to meet new people, have fun and support a Club which has been part of the community for 125 years.

With ever changing technology now having a much bigger impact on the Club and our supporters, we are looking for additional volunteers to join the Club and support our ambitions for success in the League and Community.

We are looking for:

Website Content Writers

We are looking for creative individuals to contribute to the Club’s website. This will include creating written articles on players, match reports, club events and community initiatives. Along with written content, we are looking to provide video and audio content for our supporters across the Globe.

Elgin City TV has become a hugely successful source of Match Highlights from First Team fixtures both home and away. These highlights wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our Club videographer. After a number of years volunteering at the Club, our Videographer has now joined a Scottish Premiership team in their media department. We are now seeking one or more ambitious individuals to capture footage of Elgin games and post-match interviews throughout the season. Videography experience required.

Fundraising Volunteers

Preparing a competitive team and a wide ranging community department requires significant funding on an annual basis, often significantly greater than the amount raised through gate receipts and league income. The club therefore undertakes ongoing fundraising activities to support the club financially. We are looking for a group of individuals to participate in existing and new fundraising initiatives.

Matchday Volunteers

A home fixture at Borough Briggs requires the input of many different people, from selling programmes to serving tea and coffee. We are looking for additional volunteers who can bring a wide range of skills for a few hours every other Saturday. If you think you can bring something and want to meet new people and make lifetime friendships, please get in touch.

If you think you can dedicate some time to volunteer with Elgin City Football Club, we would be delighted to speak with you to discuss further. You can contact the club by telephone on 01343 551114 or by email on [email protected]
