Club Academy Scotland Bronze Certificate Awarded by SFA

The Club recently received their Club Academy Scotland (CAS) Bronze level 2 certificate from the Scottish FA.

A lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes to make sure the strict criteria is met that is set by the National Governing Body.

The Club would like to thank all members who contribute to this award especially the coaching staff who have to achieve the C-Licence coaching qualification to take a CAS youth team as well as the mileage they clock up every season travelling up and down the road to fulfil the fixtures. A special mention to the Chairman Graham Tatters, Youth co-ordinator/coach Tiger Porter and Club secretary Kate Taylor who put in an extreme amount of their time every year to ensure the CAS criteria is met.

“CAS allows us (Elgin City Football Academy) to participate in a National games programme playing up and down the county against other professional football academies. This exposure to other elite teams/players help with the development of our youth players. I can’t thank the coaches and staff enough for the amount time and effort they put into our academy and into grass-roots football” – Robbie Hope Academy Manager.
