On the 22nd February we celebrated Brian Cameron’s Testimonial Season by hosting an evening dinner at the Club. A mix of friends, family, sponsors, players, staff & directors all came together to recognise Soapy’s achievements over the last 10 years!

It was a great night with some amazing food provided by David Guidi followed by some first-class entertainment including Guest Speakers John McRuvie and Patrice.

Career Stats (2007-2020)Brian joined Elgin City FC at the age of thirteen, working his way up through the Academy where he then made his first team debut at the age of 16 vs Stenhousemuir. Throughout his career he has picked up all the Club Honours including ‘Young Player of the Year’ ‘Supporters Player of the Year’ & ‘Players Player of the Year’. In all he has made 410 appearances (49 as SUB) and scored 75 goals for Elgin City FC. He currently holds the record for most Scottish League appearances by an Elgin player with 339 (39 as SUB) and holds the Elgin record for the most appearances in the Scottish Cup having played in 29 ties (2 as SUB). Throughout his career he has 28 bookings, and amazingly 0 Red Cards. His three favourite teams to score against are Annan Athletic with (9), Berwick Rangers (8) and Stirling Albion (7).
